With Cookgirl's talk of friends in Belize and Nancy's Honduran neighbor, I have been thinking a lot about the food in Central America. From black beans and pupusas to yucca, plaintains and seafood soup, I love it all! Though I have sampled food from most of the countries (and enjoyed everything), I have only been to Costa Rica. It was a wonderful place, and I found the cultural and food differences between the coasts to be fascinating. This may be one area of the world that has not seen much replication of dishes at home for me. How about others - what have you cooked and what do you love there? I would be great to hear everyone's stories and see their recipes!
